"The Architecture of Madrid" Private Tour

The architecture of Madrid has preserved the appearance of many of its historic streets and neighborhoods, despite the fact that Madrid has a modern infrastructure. Its landmarks include the Royal Palace of Madrid, the Royal Theater with its restored 1850 Opera House, the Buen Retiro Park (founded in 1631), the 19th-century National Library building (founded in 1712) containing some of the historical archives of Spain, a large number of national museums, and the Golden Triangle of Art located along the Paseo del Prado and made up of three art museums: the Prado Museum, the Reina Sofía Museum and the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum, which completes the shortcomings of the other two museums. The Palace and the Cibeles Fountain have become the symbolic monument of the city.

The architecture of Madrid reflects a series of styles from various historical periods, which will leave you absolutely in awe while having a great time. What are you waiting for?

Let’s discover Madrid architecture in a fun way

We are all surrounded by amazing works of art, but often we cannot read them, understand them. An anonymous space through which we know nothing.

What is the solution?

We will give you the main clues on how to read Madrid architecture for yourself, the main styles of the city and how to decipher them, once the visit is over. Little by little, architecture will become a game for you, an investigation in your free time, a new tool that I will help you use in Madrid!
